51mm Industrial Cap Socket – Brass – DIN 51 DIN 50

A custom designed socket will prevent damage to the screw cap while opening and tightening and when used with a pneumatic or manually operated torque wrench it will tighten the screw cap with optimum torque to meet the required U.N. standards.

Features : Our heavy duty and spark resistant wrench head socket has brass body and comes with 1/2 inch and 3/8 inch drive square hole and as it is made from extruded brass bars, it gives much better performance and usage life when compared to sockets made by casting. It gives leak proof tightening to prevent spillage and leakage of your valuable drum content in storage and in transit during transportation.

Compatibility : To be used with 50mm and 51mm industrial Screw Caps of type DIN50 and DIN51. For use on plastic jerrycans, pails, drums, barrels  and similar containers of all other sizes.

Specifications : Made from heavy duty extruded brass body along with 1/2 inch and 3/8 inch square hole suitable for adjustable torque wrench and ratchet wrenches. Light weight and ergonomic design for ease of use.

Usage : Attach the screw cap socket to a fixed wrench or a pneumatic or manual adjustable torque wrench or a ratchet wrench. Then place the screw cap on the container opening and place the socket over the cap. Then start tightening the cap using the wrench. It can also be used as cap opener.

Safety Instructions : Operator should use this wrench head socket on the plastic screw cap for which it is designed. Use of gloves is recommended.

Available for 41mm, 61mm, 71mm, DIN41, DIN61, DIN71 screw caps in 1/2″ drive and 3/8″ drive. Can be custom designed for any type of metal and plastic screw cap.
